Came here because I searched for a good Thai restaurant through yelp and saw all the good reviews so I had to try it for myself.. Let me tell you it was very delicious and very fresh, our waiter was very attentive and got us everything we needed..pad Thai was AMAZING..we ordered variety of sushi and it was all to die for..definitely going back!!!

my wife ended up in emergency. shell fish allergy or poisoning. i had no problems. except driving to the emergency after the meal. we were out in 3 hours, got some dun-kin doughnuts on the way back. yummy.

Not only did our order take an hour and twenty minutes to deliver (and we're pretty much down the street), but there were items missing (gyoza) that we were charged for and the rest was ice cold. We had to heat up the miso soup in our microwave because it was cold. We had to heat up the chicken fried rice as well since it was not warm at all. The kamikaze roll was very delicious however. The other sushi rolls were mediocre at best. If you're looking for quick delivery of solid sushi, this is not the place. Just a disappointment all around.

Consistently delivering quality, amazing, fresh food. Sweet family owned restaurant that is really making great food. The service is by far one of the best I have had in a long time. The 1st we ordered from them, it was pouring rain. Since parking is difficult at my building - I told the lady I would come down but she told me no - it's ok. Then the sweet delivery lady arrived - her little boy who was about 2 was with her. I felt so bad she had to bring her little boy up but she told me it was nothing. Her little boy gave us high fives and ran down the hall. Generally, delivery sushi is just ok - due to sitting around but you could tell the difference when we took our first bite. It tasted as if it just arrived at our table if we were dining in.

This place might be good for Thai food (per reviews, not personal experience) and their service is definitely GREAT. The lady taking my order was very sweet and attentive. However, we had sushi... It was all terrible. We had three different rolls, sashimi and miso soup. None of it tasted fresh, which is monumental in sushi, since if you digest otherwise it will make you feel like hurling. It was very far from fresh and had a weird overall taste. I wanted to give this place a try since they are new and prices are more reasonable than elsewhere, but unfortunately, I won't be going back.

My boyfriend and I love small mom and pop restaurants and this one is great! The pad Thai and sushi were delicious and freshly made. You can also order from yelp directly which made things so much easier. The food was fresh, delicious and the price is a bargain. I will be a repeat customer.

Just had dinner here. Amazing thai food. Love how it's a mom and pop working there and they were always checking up on you asking how the food was. Such a nice couple. We are visiting from California and decided to try this place out based on yelp reviews and were not disappointed. We ordered the pad Thai (amazing!), the pad see ew which was also really good and finally the basil beef which was full of flavor. As we were leaving they told us they also do delivery. If we lived nearby we would totally be a regular here.

I have been looking for a good thai place near me for a while and tried this one as it was highly rated here. It was absolutely delicious...food is on a spicy side, so be careful if you don't like spicy. I do so it was perfect. They are also fast with deliveries in comparison to most of the places around them.

Nice, brand new family operated sushi/Thai place. We had a good time and enjoyed the following: miso soup, dragon roll, kissing roll and a tuna carpaccio that they called something else I can't remember right now. Ask for the donut dessert with the yummy sauce. Good luck to this new place!

I called while staying at my hotel in Miami Beach as I was looking for a restaurant offering delivery as we didn't have a car. The service was exceptional from the phonecall to place my order (Finally someone who understood my Australian accent), delivery was free and was promptly delivered within 30 minutes. The food was delicious (we ordered 2 dishes for myself and my husband including rice and there was plenary of food). The red curry (mild) with chicken was yummy and the masa man curry with beef was tender and delicious. Thank you for such a pleasant and enjoyable meal which we enjoyed on our balcony overlooking the ocean.

Let's get the obvious out of the way, this place is out of the way and the ambiance is almost non-existent. BUT,the food is great and above average. We had the spicy tuna roll, spicy yellowtail roll, kamikaze roll and the hamichi yellowtail sashimi. The kamikaze roll was the highlight, and the sashimi was very fresh. We would come back if we lived in the area. Only found this place by way of yelp. The owners are the waiters and provide genuine and polite service.

Finally! A great sushi place in my area that delivers. I received their menu in the mail yesterday and I was very eager to try them. My husband and I love sushi, but we also like the convenience of ordering delivery. Up until now my neighborhood has been sorely lacking in Japanese delivery. I hate iron sushi and that was the only option before. I ordered from them last night and was pleasantly surprised. It was very good and I hope more people give them a try. They even surprised us with a complimentary treat of Thai doughnuts with our order. I thought that was a very nice touch.

I ordered from this place a few times now for delivery. I am used to living in South Beach where you can get any food any time of day or night. So after moving to "Norther" Miami Beach, getting some quality sush or anything really is rather difficult. Since I eat out and cook about 50/50, do not take my review for someone who takes delivery as they should be receiving a silver platter and white glove service. It is a necessary evil, and I like to mix it up. Forbid I have to go to Iron Sushi on Collins and 60-something (bleccch). Anyways, this place is pretty good for delivery or pick up. I have (in the company of others) had the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, dumplings, gyoza, miso soup, Dragon Roll, JB Roll, spring rolls. The sushi is pretty decent, not amazing, not bad. The Pad- either or was good but could have used a little more sauce, and it kindof all stuck together like one giant noodle/egg/vegetable ball but a yummy one. And, medium is pretty spicy, so definitely get mild if you aren't in love with spice. All in all, I would say worth it for a medium price delivery for sharing. Skip it if you are looking for something to blow your mind or special. Oh, and order your gyoza fried, not steamed. As far as ambiance, I would definitely make the trip down the beach or over the bridge if I was looking for a special meal. It always seems pretty dead inside but, like I said, delivery... it comes rather quick, and it does the trick. And 2X I have found a discount online for 10 or 15% off which absolves wither the tip or delivery charges which is cool. Ok that is all.

Small place but amazing service and amazing sushi and amazing spring rolls. Very much everything is handmade here and the staff clearly care about their service and quality of food. As someone who was here visiting, would totally come back next time I come to Miami. All around fantastic experience.

My son and I drove by around dinner time coming back from I 95 to the Beach and we noticed a new restaurant on 71st street. We made the loop and circled back around and figured we would give it a try. It was about 8:15 on a Sunday evening, and we were greeted by the owner who was a very nice lady, and she told us they had only been opened about 1 month. We both had the Miso soup which was great, and my son ordered the Basil Sauce but ended up being served the Ginger Sauce. (language)? No problem as it was very tasty. I ordered Spicy Avocado Tuna Rolls and this was excellent! The only problem was my son was served about 5 minutes before me. None the less they just opened, still working out the kinks, food was great, prices reasonable, and nice family run business. Complimentary fresh Thai donuts at the end. I wish them all the success in the world, they deserve it!

If it weren't for Yelp, I wouldn't have known this place existed. I was looking for a good Thai restaurant, as I had a craving for Chicken Pad Thai; unfortunately, they don't deliver out to me but I made a note to come in when I was in the area. I am glad I did! I went in with my BF, and we walked into an empty, dimly-lit restaurant. The shades were down, probably to block all the sunlight, but you would almost think the restaurant was closed. We were promptly greeted by the owner (?), who came running out of the kitchen as soon as he saw us come in. We sat down, ordered some iced tea and proceeded to order two rolls and a Chicken Pad Thai to share. Everything was incredible! We finished everything! What a gem this place is and we had excellent service throughout the meal I am sad that this place doesn't deliver to me, but will definitely be back to dine-in or take-out. Don't be distracted by the outside appearance. Go in and enjoy delicious, freshly prepared food.

Nice local family owned sushi spot! Great prices and they deliver. Very, very clean and service was very good. Had the lunch #1 which comes with a Cali roll and 7 pieces of fish. The fish was super fresh! Delicious! Def a local gem

Ordered & picked-up for the first time yesterday! The place is a whole in the wall. In fact, if you don't look carefully you will pass it! The inside is fairly unimpressive. My biggest concern with places like this cleanliness. But, I didn't see anything to support that concern. Now, on the other hand, there is no question about the food! Everything I ordered was fantastic! Definitely a find & I will order again!

FYI..A few nights ago a lady was delivering Chinese food to our building. She was nice offering information about the restaurant and she suggested we give it a try it.. "We have Free Delivery" she said. Last night we decided to give it a try hoping it would become our new favorite Chinese restaurant. After reading only the good reviews in here we ordered from them. Hungry and patiently waiting for the delivery. Thinking they were very busy we tried calling one hour later thinking the driver was lost or something. No answer at all -only a voicemail kept picking up our calls many times. A few minutes later a lady call saying "the food it's been ready" and it was waiting for driver to pick it up. Unbelievably she said we could pick up our order and she'll give us a 15% discount. Very simple.. I think they shouldn't offer delivery if they 'can't deliver' Unfortunately we never got to try the food.

First off, id like to say that these people are very nice and they included complimentary donuts with my to go order. If this was solely based on customer service id give it a 100%. However, the pad Thai I ordered just didnt have that delicious flavor I was looking for. Not like sawadii Thai and sushi. And neither did the basil and beef sauté. It tasted very mediocre, and almost like a Chinese restaurant would serve it's food. I did try the chicken wontons an they were great. But I wouldn't order from here again. I would stick to my trusted Thai place. It cost about the same thing

Absolutely amazing! We just ordered delivery and were hesitant given delivery sushi can be hit or miss. This place eliminated all of our reservations. Food was DELICIOUS, delivery driver was incredibly sweet, and food was delivered very fast and temperature was perfect! We will definitely be ordering and dining at this restaurant more often now that we've found it! Thank you Sun Sushi! :)
